  • What levels of care do you provide?

Typically, we accept residents with lower to mid-level needs of care for activities of daily living.

A lower level of care would be for a resident who needs very little in terms of assistance. They can get around on their own, whether it be walking or using an assistive device such as a walker or wheelchair. They may need help getting ready in the morning or need some assistance showering. They can manage toileting needs even if they use incontinence products. They only require basic medication monitoring. In general they can perform many tasks independently.

A mid-level of care would involve a resident who will need more assistance with their mobility and help transferring to their wheelchair or bed. Their showering needs are greater and they will need more assistance with their toileting. They may have more signs of memory loss and need more cueing to help them manage their day. They also will need more complex management of their medications.

Every resident is assessed on a case-by-case basis to determine whether their care needs fit within the current capabilities of our staff. We also take into account the needs of others in our facility and evaluate our ability to care for everyone properly.

  • Do you allow animals?

It depends… We do charge a fee and we have varying factors including the size and type of animal, current animals in the facility and consideration of possible allergies with other residents.

Should we accept your pet, we will require the resident to care for their animal. It will not be the responsibility of our staff.

  • What do you charge for your rooms?

When you come in for a tour, we will sit down with you to show you a breakdown of our fees.

We are a private pay facility and the rates for our suites start at $4,500. This suite rental fee includes three meals daily with snacks, weekly housekeeping and linen service, basic cable TV, use of activity areas, awake staff available 24 hours a day, apartment maintenance, and all utilities except telephone.

Additional charges are based on the level of care needed after an assessment is completed. The care level fee starts with Level I at $750 for largely independent residents who might just need assistance with basic medications and little to no assistance with dressing and toileting. Fees increase from there based on each resident’s unique circumstances and the amount of staff interaction required.

Other potential charges include pet fees, furniture or bed rentals, guest meals and a 2nd person fee should a spouse or partner desire to live here.

We have a one-time non-refundable administrative setup fee of $1,500 and a refundable $1,000 security deposit when the room is in great condition upon move-out and all furniture is removed.
